Privacy policy
The short version: there are no accounts, your dinner history stays in your own browser, and we use Google Analytics to count visits. The site may also show ads from Google and include affiliate links, both of which can use cookies.
This policy covers lostdinner.com ("the site", "we", "us").
Your dinner history
The picks you lock in, what you actually ate, and your stats are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. That data isn't sent to us, and we can't see it. To delete it, use "Erase my history" in the game or clear this site's data in your browser settings. If you use a different browser or device, your history won't follow you.
If you tap "Share my receipts," the image is made on your device. It only goes where you choose to send it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, for example how many people visit, which pages they view, roughly where they're located (city or country level), what kind of device and browser they use, how they found the site, and game events such as locking in a pick. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to do this. We don't use it to collect your name or email address.

Advertising
The site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The game still works without them.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we turn off ad personalization for your visit.
- We don't sell your personal information for money. Under some laws, including California's, letting ad partners use cookies for personalized ads can count as "sharing." The opt-outs above and Global Privacy Control let you turn that off.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We only use it to reply to you.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
